Our beautiful new home is not really new at all. In fact it is a rather old and rather charming 17th Century grain store. The building is a protected structure. The outside is well preserved with its exposed cut Cork Red Sandstone identifying it as very much a Cork Building. The construction of Parliament bridge on Georges Quay in 1806 meant ships no longer berthed at Sullivan's Quay and probably led to its demise. In the intervening years the inside has lost many of its original features. We undertook no structural work instead we have decorated with a fairly light touch, recycling and up-cycling where we could.
Phase 1 of our development is now complete with a kitchen and dining area, a breakout space that doubles up for small events of 15-20. There are additionally 30 desk spaces, a meeting room and a bike store.
We plan to begin Phase 2 in the Autumn. Phase 2 will see us add a 45 seat event space, 5 small-team offices and another 30 open plan desks.
